What’s in a name?
Arniston is named after one of the many ships which got wrecked along this stretch of South African coastline, having become victims of ‘The Cape of Storms’.
Waenhuiskrans, meaning ‘The wagon house cliff’ because of it’s size, is an alternate name for Arniston. This incredible tidal cave was carved by the sea out of the sandstone cliff over centuries of time. MORE
